چکیده
Objective: To study the incidence, risk factors, surgical outcomes of accidental durotomies (ADT) in patients microendoscopic lumbar decompression surgeries (MLDS) and postoperative patient mobilization protocol. Methods: A total 550 who underwent MLDS from January 2012 to march 2020 under single surgeon institute were included incidence ADT factors like age, BMI, smoking status, diabetes mellitus, surgeon’s experience studied for same early protocol all was followed. Results: Age >60 years (p=0.0062), bilateral with unilateral approach, surgeons first 3 over next 5 (p=0.037) statistically significant increased ADT. Most small which did not require primary repair managed sealants gelfoam fibrin glue. Postoperative recovery JOA ODI scores both non cohorts same. Conclusion: MISS has low age technique approach expertise are factors. also less CSF leak symptoms pseudomeningocele formation because limited dead space soft tissue helps reduces duration hospital stay.
